FAQs

NanoBrows

What Is Nano Brows?

Nano brows use a small needle, rather than the blade used for traditional microblading.

How Does It Feel?

Our clients report that the experience and pain level depends somewhat on the type of brow or PMU procedure they’ve selected. Some people think of microblading as an eyebrow tattoo, but the process is actually different – so the discomfort is notably less. Plus, your artist will apply a numbing cream to the area to make sure you’re comfortable throughout.

From Subtle to Dramatic: Choose Your PerfectLash Treatment

There’s no single lash look that’s right for everyone, which is why Om Design Studio & Academy has a diverse menu of lash services to choose from. If you aren’t sure how to choose the best last treatment to suit you, Celine artist is happy to help. We can discuss your ideal look, your natural lash line, and your lifestyle, then recommend a few options that we think you’ll be thrilled with.

What is Lash Extensions?

Much like hair extensions, lash extensions enhance your natural lash line by individually attaching tiny false lashes to your natural ones, using a long-lasting adhesive.

  • What types of lash extensions are there? There are many different types of lash extensions, so you can choose one that matches your vision of perfect eyelashes. For example, Russian volume lashes (also called featherweight volume lashes) are for clients that want a mega-volume, ultra-dramatic look, with lush volume and a dark lash line. On the other hand, Classic lashes are preferred by clients who like a more natural look.
  • How long do eyelash extensions last? Typically, lash extensions last about 6 weeks. Depending on aftercare, your natural lash growth, and lifestyle, they may last slightly less time than that. It’s normal for your eyelashes to fall away (along with the extensions), as part of the natural cycle of hair loss and regrowth. Clients often schedule maintenance fills every 2 to 3 weeks, will full appointments every 5 to 6 weeks.

What is Lash Lift?

For a more natural, lower-maintenance option, an eyelash lift can deliver beautiful results that are soft and subtle – but still stunning. Many of our clients with extremely sensitive eyes or active lifestyles choose an eyelash lift to suit their needs. If you have eyelashes that are super-straight or angle downwards, a quick lash lift could be all you need to completely transform your face.

How does a lash lift work?

Your lash artist will use a small silicone rod to shape your lashes, applying a light coat of adhesive to bond them to the rod temporarily. A lifting solution is then used to reposition the lashes, followed by a setting lotion that makes the results semi-permanent. Once the silicone rod is carefully removed, your lash line will remain in the new “crimped” position. The result is a full set of lashes that looks perfectly curled, without any need to reach for your lash curler.
